Pools named exactly what you searched for come first. After that the order follows each pool's depth at its current price — its active liquidity and price, read from the PoolManager's storage and put on one scale using the prices the data source derives. Not what the pool holds: every v4 pool's tokens sit in the one PoolManager together, and nothing on chain reports them per pool. The indexer's own liquidity figure was checked against the chain and was fifteen percent off on one of the busiest pools, which is why it is not used.
What the pool's active liquidity is worth right now, read from the PoolManager's own storage — not what the pool holds, which no v4 pool reports on its own.
Each pool's fee is read from the key it was created with, on the chain, rather than from the data source — whose fee figure was measured to be the total a swap last paid, protocol cut included, and not the pool's own fee. A row whose key could not be read says so.
This list is drawn from the v4 pools that traded the most on Ethereum mainnet over the last seven days — the thousand busiest pool-days, which come to a few hundred pools — and a pool quieter than that never reaches this page. The source cannot answer a search across every v4 pool before this page stops waiting, so the window is by recent activity rather than by your terms: a pool that exists but has not traded this week is not here.

A pool nothing has happened in for a month is not listed. The range is drawn from the last month of prices, and a pool without one has nothing to draw it from — opening it would only say so.
